Founded on One Promise: Treat Every Client Like Family
José Maurisset founded Peoples Insurance Agency in Miami in 2020 because he saw a problem. Families in South Florida — especially Spanish-speaking families — were being sold policies they didn’t understand by agents who didn’t take the time to explain anything.
That didn’t sit right with him.
So he built an agency around a different philosophy. Take time. Listen to what people actually need. Explain everything in plain language, in English or Spanish. And never, ever push a policy just because it pays a higher commission.
That same philosophy drives everything we do. Most of our clients come to us through referrals, a family member, a friend, a coworker who says, “Call Peoples Insurance. They’ll take care of you.”
We’ve grown from José working solo to a team of many dedicated agents, but the approach hasn’t changed. When you call, a real person answers. When you have a question, you get a real explanation. When you need to file a claim, we walk you through it step by step.
